Direct Flight From Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar to Kuala Lumpur.
Giving more options to International passengers and tourists, Air Asia is all set to start its direct flight from Bhubaneswar to Kuala Lumpur.
The direct flight from Bhubaneswar to Kuala Lumpur Malaysian low-cost airline AirAsia will fly its first international flight from Biju Patnaik International Airport on March 27. The flight will further boost tourism in the state.
Reports states that the flight to Kuala Lumpur would operate four days a week. It is expected to take off from the low-cost airline's hub in the Malaysian capital in the evening and reach Bhubaneswar around 11pm. After a halt of 30-40 minutes, the aircraft will leave for Kuala Lumpur, where it will reach early next morning.
The direct international flights will focus on the Buddhist tourism in the state. The connectivity to Kuala Lumpur will bring Odisha in the of Buddhist tourism map and will attract more Buddhist tourists from South Asian and South East Asian countries to Odisha.
